kidney patients welfare society kozhikode

Sneha sparsham is an integrated project for rehabilitation of renal patients. Its an initiative of kidney patients welfare society of Kozhikode district panchayath. The prime aim of this project is not carrying out any charity work but committing social responsibility for supporting both financially and emotionally shattered patients and their families. Its source of fund is none other than the kindness flow from wealthy hearts. Kudumbasree members, students, religious institutions, residents associations, local bodies ,many good heartened people have considerably contributed to the fund.

A team of sincere and dedicated doctors, civil servants,teachers, politicians,pain & palliate volunteers and social workers who carry out the operations of the project.

The project will be implemented in 5 phases. In first phase we are giving partial financial support to 750 renal patients for 12 dialysis including children for peritoneal dialysis. In second phase we are planning to organize early detection camps and awareness program mes in schools, colleges and residential colonies.Motivating people for organ donation is the major activities in third phase. Rehabilitation of kidney transplanted patients and medical support in the 4 th phase. Establishing a most sophisticated hospital attached with a research center is the 5th phase of the project.

 

About Kidney patients welfare society

Kidney patients welfare society is registered under charitable society act in 2012 under district panchayath Kozhikode .the jurisdiction of the society is within the limits of Kozhikode revenue district.Chairperson of the society the president of district panchayath and chief coordinator is district collector. Office is functioning at district panchayath office complex in civil station, malaparampa, kozhiikode.

JEEVAL DANAM

JEEVAL DANAM is exclusively for deceased donor organ donation. The project is designed for the effective implementation of organ transplantation program in northern Kerala by coordinating different hospitals in the region and public awareness.
